What Will You Do in This Role?
In this position, you will be part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D vertical, focusing on pharmacovigilance. You’ll work with a highly skilled team, collaborating to ensure the safe usage of pharmaceuticals across the globe. Here’s what your day-to-day responsibilities will look like:
- Case Identification and Data Entry: You’ll handle the identification, entry, and follow-ups for both serious and non-serious cases into the safety database.
- MedDRA Coding: You’ll be using the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) to code and classify adverse event data.
- Processing and Submission: You’ll process and submit Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) according to both client and global regulatory guidelines.
- Follow-up Management: You’ll follow up on unresolved cases and ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to.
- Affiliate Mailbox Management: Reconcile reports to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
You’ll also be required to work closely with internal teams, handle tasks under pressure, and adapt to rotational shifts as needed.
