Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Officer in the Microbiology department, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Environmental Monitoring: Perform environmental monitoring in aseptic areas, including Sterile D and Sterile E areas.
• Aseptic Process Simulations: Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM) in aseptic process simulations.
• Utilities and Drain Point Monitoring: Involvement in utilities, drain point, and anaerobic monitoring to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• GQ and PQ: Carry out General Qualification (GQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) of company employees and vendors.
• Media Preparation: Prepare various media for microbiological testing and ensure their quality.
• Growth Promotion Test: Conduct growth promotion tests to ensure the suitability of the media.
• Bioburden Testing: Perform bioburden testing to assess the microbial load in products and materials.
• Sterile Sampling: Execute sterile raw sampling in the Sterile Block to maintain product integrity.
• Water Sampling and Testing: Carry out water sampling and water testing to ensure compliance with microbiological standards.
• Autoclave Operation: Operate autoclave equipment for sterilization processes.
• Calibration of pH Meter: Ensure the accurate calibration of pH meters used in the laboratory.
