Position: Manufacturing Line Lead

Type: Full-time, Hourly
Shifts Available:
- Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Line Lead, you will oversee critical manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and product quality. Your primary duties will include:
- Material Dispensing: Dispensing raw and primary packing materials according to work orders.
- Batch Management: Executing and planning Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Monitoring the sanitation of production areas and machinery.
- Process Checks: Conducting in-process checks, on-line documentation, and recording entries related to manufacturing operations.
- Machine Operations: Operating machines to ensure minimal rejections and maximum outputs while maintaining quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Performing checks and safeguarding machine parts, tools, and accessories.
- Sampling Coordination: Coordinating sampling with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC).
- Line Clearance: Ensuring line clearance during batch and product changeovers.
Education, Skills, and Experience

Experience | At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations preferred. |
Language Proficiency | Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) required. |
Regulatory Knowledge | Familiarity with cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharmaceuticals is highly preferred. |
Technical Knowledge | Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems. |
Work Environment | Capable of working independently and in teams. |
Health & Safety Knowledge | Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and Health & Safety procedures. |
Mathematical & Organizational Skills | Strong mathematical and organizational abilities are essential. |
Physical Requirements
The role of Manufacturing Line Lead entails physical demands, including:
- Lifting/Bending: Frequent heavy lifting and bending.
- Force Exertion: Must exert up to 5 pounds of force continuously, up to 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds rarely (using a hand truck to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects).
- PPE Usage: Compliance with PPE requirements is mandatory.
- Respiratory Device Usage: May involve wearing various respiratory devices such as Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) and Supplied Air Respirators (SAR).
Location
This position is based in Fall River, Massachusetts. InvaGen Pharmaceuticals also operates at a second manufacturing site in Central Islip, New York.
