The ideal candidate will translate medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coding and coding auditing services directly to healthcare providers.
- Analyze and translate medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into numerical codes.
- Perform coding for various health services and clinical care functions.
- Ensure accurate coding for billing and data collection purposes.
- Conduct routine problem-solving independently and collaborate with supervisors on complex issues.
- Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and team objectives.
- Apply knowledge and skills to activities that often vary from day to day.

Minimum Educational Background:
- High school education or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
