Position Purpose

  • Acts as the primary Chargeback contact for Fiserv clients’ card portfolio (debit, credit, prepaid).
  • Communicates dispute resolution processes for Visa or MasterCard debit clients.
  • Analyzes and processes dispute/fraud claims, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintains knowledge of Visa or MasterCard processing timeframes and regulations.
  • Resolves moderately complex client issues in dispute resolution.
  • Responds to client inquiries regarding chargeback requirements and claim status.
  • Performs maintenance and settlement reconciliations using various software applications.

Research/TicketingResearch client/system issues and document findings.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in financial services.
  • Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong relationship and communication skills.
  • High level of computer skills (EFT systems, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of workstations and database software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn.
  • Willingness to work extended hours if needed.
  • Travel Required: None.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Visa/MasterCard Operating Regulations.
  • Familiarity with the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) industry and Regulation E.
