Role & Responsibilities:
- Analyze medical records, doctor’s notes, and patient information.
- Convert diagnoses, treatments, and procedures into alphanumeric codes.
- Double-check codes for correctness and compliance with federal regulations and insurance standards.
- Collaborate with physicians or providers for accurate coding.
- Ensure security and confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliance).
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and changes through continuous training.
- Work with billing staff to integrate coded data into the billing process.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 0-1 years of experience in Medical Coding.
- Bio Science graduates with knowledge of human anatomy.
- Flexible to work in any shift and extra hours.
