Job Overview
As a Clinical Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of clinical trial supply chains. This role requires interpreting clinical trial protocols to create effective supply plans and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret clinical trial protocols to develop and implement effective supply chain solutions.
- Create master English label text in line with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Annex 13).
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts and packaging plans to ensure availability of clinical supplies.
- Initiate and oversee packaging campaigns with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Set up, monitor, and update Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems for inventory management.
- Develop and oversee distribution plans executed by vendors.
- Work independently to ensure timely delivery of trial materials.
- Track budgets to ensure efficient project execution within client-approved quotations.
- Maintain compliance with all training and regulatory requirements.
- Lead client and vendor meetings to discuss supply chain topics and updates.
- Create and manage Temperature Excursion management plans.
- Conduct risk management assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in science or business (Preferred, not essential)
- Industry Experience: 2-3 years in Clinical Trials (Essential)
- Supply Chain Experience: 2-3 years in Clinical Supply Chain Management (Essential)
- Strong project management skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in English
