Role Overview: Quality Control (QC)
The Quality Control (QC) role at Lupin Limited is critical in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality before reaching the market. The position is suitable for professionals with a background in science or pharmacy, who have substantial experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance
- Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities.
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Laboratory Management
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct stability studies and ensure the proper storage of samples.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the production and R&D teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for specialized testing and analysis.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 18 years of experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry.
Education:
- A degree in B.Sc, M.Sc, or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and conducting various tests.
