Position Overview
As a Clinical Trial Feasibility Specialist at Merck & Co, you will be an integral part of the Operational Design Center (ODC), providing essential data and operational strategies to support global clinical trials. Your role will involve conducting in-depth research, data mining, and analysis to assess clinical trial feasibility and develop effective operational plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in deliverables and contribute to the development of best practices.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills, experience in clinical trial feasibility, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Analysis:
Conduct detailed research on disease backgrounds, current standards of care, and the evolving treatment landscape. - Data Mining:
Extract and analyze data from internal and external databases to develop operational strategies for global clinical trials. - Operational Planning:
Use site intelligence and input from cross-functional teams to identify potential trial sites and plan study-level operations. - Competitor Analysis:
Assess the competitive clinical trial landscape to determine the feasibility of new trials. - Consistency & Best Practices:
Support the development of consistent deliverables and best practices across the Operational Design Center. - Reporting & Documentation:
Collate and analyze findings, presenting results in comprehensive reports with tables, graphs, and citations. - Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional and international teams, actively contributing to meetings and decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications
