Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Follow broad project guidelines as directed by the Project Lead or Technical SME.
- Prioritize work to achieve specified project outcomes.
- Seek feedback from the Project Lead and colleagues to improve performance.
- Apply information provided by the Project Lead or senior colleagues to complete assigned project activities.
- Produce quality work meeting the expectations of the project lead and the client.
- Serve as a Project Lead for small scale projects or a Work Stream Lead on larger projects.
When Serving as a Project Lead:
- Plan and set up projects with support from Line Manager.
- Act as the main client contact and ensure accurate project reporting.
- Deliver to meet client expectations for quality and timeliness.
- Identify and escalate risks appropriately.
- Ensure project-specific training compliance.
- Manage project financials, including accurate revenue forecasts.
- Understand and work within the scope of the contract.
- Identify new opportunities for Change In Scope or add-on business from existing work.
- Complete timely project close-out activities.
Consulting Activities and Relationship Management:
- Implement the organization’s consulting models and methodologies.
- Deliver consulting services within personal expertise.
- Complete assigned activities within project scope and objectives.
- Identify project and internal issues to senior colleagues and Project Lead.
- Interact professionally at all working levels within client organization and within Parexel.
- Identify project and/or client needs to the Project Lead and/or Technical SME.
- Ensure clients express satisfaction with service provided.
Business Development:
- Begin networking within the industry.
- Communicate potential new business leads to PC management and account managers.
Parexel-related Activities:
- Meet established metrics as specified in scorecard annually.
- Complete job-related responsibilities, including timesheets, expense reports, CV maintenance, training compliance, and project deliverable archiving.
- Define self-development activities with management support to stay current within the industry.
