Position Overview: Junior Central Testing Analyst in Clinical Data Sciences (CDS)
Pfizer is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Central Testing Analyst to join the Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) group in Chennai. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and functionality of database screens and edit checks. As a Junior Central Testing Analyst, you will perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on database screens, ensuring they meet protocol standards and user expectations. You will also test database edit checks, confirm their correct programming, and ensure they meet specifications. Your work will support the consistency and quality of data standards across various clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Perform testing on database screens to ensure they meet the protocol standards and user expectations.
Edit Check Testing
- Test database edit checks to confirm they are correctly programmed and meet the specifications.
Data Quality Assurance
- Ensure consistent application of data standards across programs, focusing on data quality and consistency.
Protocol Understanding
- Comprehend the clinical study protocol to effectively conduct screen testing.
Documentation
- Complete and manage all study-related documentation and share it with the study team.
Feedback and Learning
- Participate in UAT feedback meetings, track lessons learned, and share knowledge within the team.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; a degree in Health Sciences or Technology is preferred.
Experience
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in the clinical domain, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals.
Technical Skills
- Industry Awareness:
- Awareness of clinical development and pharmaceutical industry regulations (e.g., FDA, Health Canada).
- Data Management:
- Basic understanding of clinical data management processes.
- Software Proficiency:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
