We are looking for experienced professionals to join our fermentation team. This role is crucial in executing and optimizing fermentation processes that are vital to the production of pharmaceutical intermediates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Fermentation Projects: Oversee fermentation processes from concept through scale-up and production in shift operations.
• Process Optimization: Develop and enhance fermentation processes to improve yield, efficiency, and product quality.
• Large-Scale Operations: Operate and manage fermenters ranging from 50KL to 250KL, including fed-batch and continuous partial harvest systems.
• Equipment Management: Monitor and troubleshoot fermentation equipment such as flow meters, pH/DO sensors, and temperature/pressure sensors.
• Documentation and Compliance: Ensure online documentation, feed adjustments, and strict adherence to SOPs, EOPs, and BPCR.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with downstream processing, analytical development, and quality control teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Reporting: Present technical reports, data summaries, and protocols effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: B.Tech / M.Tech in Biotechnology, or M.Sc in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 8 years in industrial fermentation, particularly in large-scale operations involving fermenters of 50-250 KL capacity.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Proficient in handling microbial strains and optimizing growth conditions.
• Experience in bioprocess optimization and troubleshooting.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards within the pharmaceutical industry.
