Job Description
This role is for a reporting candidate with sound technical skills to identify requirements and deliver solutions using Power BI. You will be enhancing dashboards for holdings, trade, self-service, etc., in the investments data portal. The candidate should be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and work closely with business owners to define the scope, deliverables, and definition of done.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience: Investments domain
- Data Analysis & Visualization: 5+ years
- Power BI Developments: 5+ years
- SQL/Snowflake: 5+ years
- Power BI Report Builder: Working knowledge
- Power BI Modeling & SQL Querying: Design models and metadata for reporting
- Power Platform Ecosystem: Share & collaborate
- Troubleshooting: Tuning and troubleshooting issues
- Data Sources: Connect to multiple data sources including file systems, databases, and cloud sources (SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, SharePoint)
- Scrum Methodologies: High-level understanding of Scrum methodologies, ceremonies, and metrics
- Technical Stories: Create technical stories and convert business needs to technical solutions and design
- End-to-End Delivery: Experience with end-to-end delivery of reporting solutions
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Other BI/Reporting Tools: Experience with Tableau, Cognos
- Agile Methodologies: Scrum/Safe, task and story estimation
- Power Apps: Experience
- Data Integration: ETL, data mapping, massaging, and transformation
