Role Purpose

The Quality-Medical Affairs Professional (Q-MAP) at Eli Lilly is a therapeutically aligned clinical scientist responsible for ensuring the highest standards of medical quality, accuracy, and compliance across all promotional and non-promotional content within the Medical Affairs organization. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align materials with both external customer needs and internal business goals.


Key Responsibilities

Brand Team Support:

  • Serve as the primary medical point of contact for the brand team.
  • Provide clinical and scientific expertise to support cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the development of local brand plans and medical strategies.
  • Review and develop promotional and non-promotional materials in alignment with therapeutic solutions and clinical landscapes.
  • Support medical training needs for internal business partners.

Scientific Expertise and Medical Affairs Delivery:

  • Assist in data analysis and the development of scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
  • Collaborate with other medical affairs roles to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stay updated with relevant medical literature and trends in therapeutic areas.
  • Translate complex scientific data into clear, compliant content for customer communications.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

DegreeField of StudyExperience
MD, PhDHealth Sciences2+ years of clinical/therapeutic experience
MBBS, BDS, etc.Health Sciences2+ years of clinical experience

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in the scientific industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to translate complex scientific data into meaningful content for diverse audiences.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functions, including Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage and prioritize complex deliverables.
  • Proficiency in customer interfacing.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence others, including upward management.
