About ICMR:
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is seeking applications for the post of Consultant (Scientific) (Non-Medical) for its Medical Device & Diagnostics Mission Secretariat, Division of Development Research. This is a temporary contract position under the MedTech Mitra initiative.

Position Details:

• Title: Consultant (Scientific) (Non-Medical)
• Number of Positions: 01
• Maximum Age Limit: 70 years
• Location: ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi (with possible postings to other sites)

Essential Qualifications:

• M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA qualifications in a relevant subject
• Experience in Research & Development and published papers

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences
• Experience in clinical trials, medical devices, and medical diagnostics
• Proficiency in writing study protocols, CRFs, consent forms, and manuscripts

General Terms and Conditions:

• Number of positions may vary.
• Positions are purely for temporary projects and will be co-terminus with the project.
• Engagement depends on funds, functional requirements, and competent authority approval.
• Emoluments are project-specific and may vary based on the funding agency.
• The age limit cut-off date is the last date for application submission.
• Age relaxation as per ICMR guidelines.
• Reserved category candidates must provide valid certificates (latest non-creamy layer certificate for OBC and disability certificate for PWD with not less than 40% disability).
• Successful candidates will be allotted projects by the competent authority.
• Qualifications and experience should be relevant and from reputed institutions.
• Fulfilling essential qualifications does not guarantee selection.
• Government employees are not eligible to apply.
• No TA/DA for interviews.
• ICMR reserves the right to consider or reject any application.
• Submission of false information will disqualify candidates.
• Project Human Resource cannot register for Ph.D. due to time constraints.
• Posting will typically be at the study site, with potential postings to other sites.
• No claim to regular posts at ICMR or other government departments.
• Initial engagement will be for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
• ICMR reserves the right to terminate engagements without reason.
• Leave policies as per ICMR’s policy for project human resources.
