Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to execute formulation technology transfer activities to standardize, strengthen, and improve the technology transfer processes in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Transfer
- Conduct Effective Transfers: Facilitate the transfer of product and process knowledge to formulation manufacturing units, including all required documentation for successful implementation.
- Document Preparation: Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted for new product technology.
Planning and Execution
- Requirements Identification: List and identify prerequisites such as raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), tooling, accessories, and machines needed for batch execution.
- Batch Execution: Participate in executing placebo, feasibility, assessment, regulatory, and amendment batches within the specified timeframe.
Data Management
- Data Collection: Gather and collate data from batch, process, in-process, physical, analytical, and stability tests for dossier compilation.
- Data Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and extrapolating batch data to define control strategies for commercial product launch.
Technical Support
- Support Implementation: Provide technical support for Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP), Automated Vehicle Design (AVD), and site transfer activities to enhance product life cycle management.
- Tech Transfer at CMO: Engage in technology transfer activities at CMO sites for new products.
Education Qualification
- Required: B.Pharm or M.Pharm
Relevant Work Experience
- Experience: 5-7 years in formulation development and/or manufacturing, with knowledge of regulatory markets.
