Key Responsibilities
1. Receiving and Transferring Technology
- Manage Technology Transfer: Oversee the transition of technology from the Research and Development (R&D) team to production facilities.
- Seamless Integration: Ensure that technology transfer processes are smooth and efficient.
2. Process Optimization
- Optimize Process Parameters: Enhance the technology transfer process and improve product quality by fine-tuning process parameters.
3. Batch Monitoring
- Supervise Batches: Monitor demo, scale-up, show, and launch batches to ensure compliance with standards.
- Adhere to Standards: Ensure all procedures meet the required standards.
4. Troubleshooting
- Handle Issues: Address any problems that arise during exhibit batches, scale-up batches, and other procedures.
- Investigate Deviations: Examine deviations, out-of-specifications (OOS), and out-of-trend (OOT) events at the plant.
5. Experience with Regulated Markets
- Science-Based Scale-Up: Ideally, have experience with science-based scale-up factors for regulated markets.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm): Required for this role.
Experience and Skills
- Experience: 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in transferring formulation technologies.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of process optimization and formulation technology.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to resolve issues during technology transfer.
