Job Title: Research Associate – Synthesis R&D
As a Research Associate in the Synthesis R&D department at Chemveda Life Sciences, you will be at the forefront of organic chemistry research, contributing to the development of new drug compounds and processes.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves a variety of critical responsibilities that will allow you to apply your scientific expertise:
- Conduct Organic Synthesis and Multi-step Synthesis Projects
You will be tasked with performing organic synthesis and multi-step synthesis, which are key to developing complex molecules needed for drug discovery and development. - Handle Reactions Ranging from Milligram to Gram Scale
You will manage chemical reactions at different scales, allowing for flexibility in project demands and ensuring accurate results for small and large-scale synthesis projects. - Utilize Advanced Techniques for Molecular Characterization
Your expertise in isolation, separation, and purification techniques will be essential in identifying and characterizing organic molecules. You will regularly use sophisticated instruments like NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance), IR (Infrared Spectroscopy), LCMS (Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry), and HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography). - Collaborate in a Team Environment
