Job Responsibilities
As a Clinical Data Coordinator at Fortrea, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Lead Data Manager (LDM) with the review, maintenance, and update of External Vendor data received from central vendors or local laboratories.
- Ensuring compliance with department SOPs, guidelines, and global standards to maintain data integrity and consistency across all projects.
- Verifying that electronic vendor data contains all protocol-specified parameters, is in the correct format, and populates the specified fields and patient information accurately.
- Assisting the LDM in developing data transfer agreements and specifications for vendor data transfers.
- Performing validation reviews of electronically transmitted data for a sample of total patients in the study for loading purposes.
- Assisting with the review of External Data edit checks, status reports, and data listings.
- Interacting with clinical staff (CTM/CRA) to obtain local laboratory normal ranges for all sites.
- Researching and resolving discrepancies in information concerning normal ranges and maintaining proper documentation.
- Entering and performing quality checks (QC) for local laboratory normal ranges.
- Verifying that the normal ranges are correctly attached to patient results in the local lab data collection module of the database.
- Supporting communication with vendors and clients on issues related to data transfers, data points, and validation problems, with oversight from senior staff.
- Performing other duties as required by the department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Sc, B.Sc).
- 2 – 4 years of experience in a similar role.
