Key Responsibilities of the Role

The position of Officer in Technical Service / Technology Transfer involves a range of tasks aimed at ensuring seamless integration of new products into commercial production. Here are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Technology Absorption & Transfer: Ensure smooth transfer of technology from Research & Technology (R&T) to pilot, kilo, and commercial scale.
  • Preparation of Process Documents: Develop P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), and crucial safety and risk documentation such as HAZOP, HIRA, and FMECA.
  • Qualification Documentation: Prepare qualification documents for new projects and ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Equipment Mapping & Capacity Calculation: Identify and map equipment requirements for new products in different plants, performing capacity calculations as needed.
  • Batch Monitoring & Validation: Oversee batch monitoring during pre-validation and validation stages in the plant, ensuring processes meet the required quality standards.
  • Documentation for Validation: Prepare BPCR (Batch Production Control Records) for pre-validation and validation batches. Develop ESR (Equipment Status Report) and ISR (In-Process Status Report) for validation stages.
  • Report Preparation: Compile validation reports with detailed observations, ensuring that every aspect of the new product meets quality standards before full-scale production.
