Job Description:
ITC, one of India’s top private sector firms, is hiring a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in Agri. Plant Biochemistry. The candidate will design and execute experiments, perform biochemical and molecular analysis in desirable crops & traits, conduct molecular marker-assisted selection of plants, and ensure the smooth transfer of technology to business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute experiments in alignment with project timelines
• Perform biochemical and molecular analysis in desirable crops & traits
• Conduct molecular marker-assisted selection of plants
• Analyze and interpret data to form well-reasoned conclusions
• Prepare presentations and reports
• Collaborate with other institutions/universities
• Ensure smooth transfer of technology to business

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology/Biotechnology tools and techniques
• Expertise in plant molecular markers/genetic diversity analysis
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Capability to establish biochemical and molecular platforms for crops and traits of interest
• Knowledge of biochemical assays/analysis and molecular marker development
• Basic statistical analysis
