Position Overview

As a Scientific Writer at Sanofi, you will play a vital role in creating specialized content for medical and scientific communication. This position involves supporting the end-to-end publication and medical education content development process, including documentation and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision. You will develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise, collaborate closely with peers and stakeholders, and contribute to the creation of high-quality educational and communication content.

Main Responsibilities

1. Content Creation and Development

  • Create specialized medical and scientific content with limited supervision.
  • Support the end-to-end publication/medical education content development process.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and approval in systems such as PromoMats and iEnvision.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in therapeutic areas.
  • Work closely with peers and team members to develop best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to meet content requirements.

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders within the allocated Global Business Unit and product teams.
  • Interact effectively with healthcare professionals on publication content.
  • Assist other writers in developing knowledge and sharing expertise.

3. Performance Management

  • Provide publication and medical education materials such as slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of materials.
  • Provide strategic support to individuals and institutions serving as resources for publication purposes.

4. Process Management

  • Develop complex publication and medical education materials.
  • Support medical communication efforts and develop subject matter expertise.
  • Conduct comprehensive publication-need analysis.
  • Implement publication plans and associated activities for the region.
  • Work with selected vendors to deliver required deliverables as per defined processes.
  • Design plans of action based on end-user feedback to improve course content and delivery.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with scientific communication teams to identify publication needs and develop assigned deliverables.
  • Liaise with Product Managers, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and the medical department to prepare relevant and customized deliverables.
